Community Building Activities and Events

JCA has two opportunities each year to celebrate the work of individuals whose contributions to our society help build a more inclusive community for all of us.

Every spring, JCA hosts the Humanitarian Awards Dinner, at which outstanding individuals are presented the National Humanitarian Award for their work in promoting equality, teaching racial tolerance, and advocating justice. In late spring, we also honor remarkable citizens of Arkansas at our Gathering of Friends, where we are proud to give the Father Joseph H. Biltz Award.

In addition to those awards ceremonies, JCA organizes community building activities, such as a Walk for CommUNITY in celebration of our open, diverse and spirit-filled community and teaching racial tolerance, equality and unity.
